Christmas Hill Farm consists of 700 acres of Fenland peat and Breckland sand on the West Suffolk/Norfolk border. The grassland pastures are criss-crossed with water ways and ditches and bordered with new plantings of thousands of young trees.
We are extremely interested in nature conservation and wildlife. The Countryside Stewardship Scheme helps to ensure that the farming is beneficial to the many birds, insects, mammals and water creatures which are found there, and a Woodland Scheme cares for the many new trees.
The farm borders an RSPB reserve so, together, the area available to birds and wildlife approaches 2000 acres. To visit the Lakenheath Fen RSPB website click here.
We have three breeds of cows and three breeds of sheep. To find out more about each of the breeds, just click the links above.
