About Christmas Hill

The acquisition of Christmas Hill Farm gave one Suffolk family the chance to combine all their interests in nature conservation, their love of wild-life and the countryside and, in particular, protecting rare breeds of British sheep and cows.

To begin with, our home produced meat was sold in the Eastern Region through Farmers’ Markets and Mail Order but we felt that we would like to sell our local product from our own farm, to the local people.

When we decided to set up a Farm Shop Alastair joined the Christmas Hill team as Farm Shop Manager. His enthusiasm and drive is a great asset to the project. Together with butcher Robert, he has turned the farm shop into a wonderful setting where our very own Rare Breed produce can be bought, as well as other delicious items from this area of Suffolk and Norfolk.

We are very proud of what we do here and the farm is always open to the public to take a look around. We all look forward to welcoming you here!
